// CORE PROPOSITION

We do not produce signals. We certify them — for institutional capital that cannot afford noise.

// Counterparty Profiles

Three engagement models. One validation layer.

Engagement structure varies by counterparty type. Select the profile that aligns with your institutional context.

Signal certification, not signal generation.

Your alpha source is proprietary. What is not proprietary is the cost of acting on signals that have not been spectrally validated. SPORTINDEX provides a validation layer that runs upstream of execution, classifying each signal against a heavy-tailed convergence framework derived from random matrix theory.

The framework is methodology-transparent: under NDA, we provide the full calibration trail, walk-forward methodology, and parameter envelopes. We do not provide the signals themselves, the underlying models, or any forward-looking performance representations.

Counterparties license either the validation API on a per-call basis, or the methodology specification on an annual basis with unrestricted internal use within a defined scope.

Provided under NDA

  • Heavy-tailed convergence methodology (Martin and Mahoney, JMLR 2021)
  • Walk-forward backtesting protocol with hold-out sets
  • Per-league parameter envelopes (NBA, MLB live; NHL, NFL Q4 2026)
  • Audit trail format with timestamp and convergence flag

Not provided

  • Live signals, picks, or directional recommendations
  • Forward-looking performance figures
  • Capacity estimates outside specific deployment context
  • Execution, order routing, or custody services

// ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Three institutional profiles. One validation layer. Engagement structure varies; the underlying methodology does not.

// Scope of Engagement

Defined scope. Documented exclusions.

Institutional engagement requires unambiguous scope. The table below defines what SPORTINDEX licenses to verified counterparties, what falls outside the engagement, and what is contractually prohibited regardless of access level.

Licensed under NDA

  • Validation API, per-call basis
  • Methodology specification, annual term
  • Calibration trail and audit format
  • Quarterly validation review (Family Office tier)
  • Reference architecture documentation
  • Walk-forward methodology and hold-out protocol

Not licensed

  • Live signals or directional recommendations
  • Proprietary models or code repositories
  • Forward-looking performance representations
  • Capital introductions or manager referrals
  • Custody, execution, or order routing services
  • Direct investment opportunities or fund interests

Contractually prohibited

  • Retail distribution of any output
  • Resale of validation output as standalone signal product
  • Public attribution to SPORTINDEX without written consent
  • Use in product marketed to non-QP / non-QIB / non-Professional Client audiences
  • Reverse engineering of validation parameters via API probing
  • Co-marketing without prior written agreement

Engagement scope is defined contractually at counterparty onboarding. SPORTINDEX does not provide investment advice, manage capital, execute orders, or hold custody of client assets. All licensed materials are provided for the licensee's internal use within the scope defined in the executed counterparty agreement.

// CONTRACTUAL CLARITY

Institutional engagement requires unambiguous scope. What is licensed, what is excluded, and what is contractually prohibited — defined at counterparty onboarding.

Process

Schema normalization, timestamp anchoring, provenance attestation.

Output

Audit

Per-signal hash, ingestion-tier metadata, source attestation log.

Layer 01 — Ingestion

Per-signal hash, ingestion-tier metadata, source attestation log.

Layer 02 — Spectral Audit

// VALIDATION PIPELINE

A deterministic four-stage pipeline. Each stage has a defined input, process, output, and audit format. Operational parameters under NDA.

// Methodology · Under NDA for full specification

Reproducible by design. Auditable by contract.

Methodology transparency is the load-bearing element of institutional credibility. SPORTINDEX validation rests on three documented protocols. Each has a defined input, a deterministic process, an auditable output, and a permanent audit trail. Full parameter envelopes and live calibration data are provided to verified counterparties under NDA.

Method 01

Spectral Convergence Analysis

Input
Model weight matrices from any neural component within the validated pipeline.
Process
Heavy-tailed exponent extraction following Martin and Mahoney (JMLR 2021); classification against documented stability envelope.
Output
Per-component convergence verdict with envelope-position coordinate (NDA-gated).
Audit
Versioned methodology document, per-component snapshot retention, re-derivation protocol available to licensee.
What this protocol does: Distinguishes models that have converged on signal from models that have memorized noise. What it does not do: Predict future market behavior or generate directional recommendations.
Method 02

Walk-Forward Backtesting Protocol

Input
Historical signal stream with timestamp anchoring.
Process
Rolling-window training with strict temporal hold-out; no leakage between training and evaluation windows; deterministic seed control for reproducibility.
Output
Out-of-sample performance distribution (NDA-gated); methodology compliance attestation.
Audit
Full hold-out specification, seed log, reproducibility hash for any reported result.
What this protocol does: Tests methodology against data the model has not seen during training. What it does not do: Guarantee future performance. Past performance does not predict future results.
Method 03

Risk-Architecture Calibration

Input
Validated signal envelope from Methods 01 and 02.
Process
Kelly Criterion sizing with fractional damping; drawdown ceiling enforcement; counterparty-specific exposure limit overlay.
Output
Sizing envelope per signal class; documented risk-event playbook.
Audit
Per-decision sizing rationale, limit-state log, quarterly architecture review (Family Office tier).
What this protocol does: Translates a validated signal into a sized decision packet under documented risk constraints. What it does not do: Execute the decision. Execution remains with the counterparty.

Full methodology documentation including parameter envelopes, calibration data, hold-out specifications, and reproducibility artifacts is provided to verified counterparties following execution of the Master License Agreement and counterparty-tier NDA. Public surface intentionally describes structure without parameters; this is a contractual requirement of the licensee tier, not a marketing choice.
